ICIG – Realignment of Investments New Director of Pharmaceutical Business

After the successful completion of the acquisition of our fifth pharmaceutical manufacturing facility - Corden Pharma Latina S.p.A., International Chemical Investors Group S.E., Luxemburg / Frankfurt (ICIG) announces the realignment of its investments in the pharmaceutical sector.
The pharmaceutical segment under the Corden Pharma Group umbrella is one of ICIG’s four market oriented platforms which includes development and manufacturing activities for API’s and finished dosage forms. The group has more than 1000 employees.
The following companies belong to Corden Pharma Group:
Corden Pharma S.p.A., Caponago (Italy) Corden Pharma Latina S.p.A., Sermoneta (Italy) Corden Pharma GmbH, Plankstadt (Germany) Synkem S.A.S., Chenôve (France) Corden Pharma, Cork (Ireland), (Research and development only).
The sites are legally independent businesses, responsible for their operational results, production, quality and customer service. All Corden Pharma Group facilities are working under GMP standards and are approved by the major health authorities like FDA, Anvisa, Japan and serve customers worldwide.
ICIG is nominating Wolfgang Niedermaier as President of Corden Pharma Group as of July 1st 2010. In this new role he will give strategic guidance to the group companies. He will also be responsible for sales and marketing as well as corporate development of Corden Pharma Group.
Corden Pharma is striving to become a leader in contract development of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) for generics as well as for exclusive products (new chemical formulations), contract manufacturing for high potent substances, sterile substances and selected preparations for parenteral application.
